Q. What are the basic requirements my computer must meet in order to run MiLB multimedia products?

A. The MiLB site runs in most browsers for most operating systems. However, some features may be limited or unavailable if you are running from a configuration that is not recommended. The following profiles are recommended for the optimal browsing experience.

Windows Recommended Profile:
Operating System Processor RAM Connectivity Browsers Plug-ins
Windows XP Family (Home Edition, Professional Edition, or Media Center Edition), Windows 2000/NT 5 At least 500Mhz Intel Pentium/Celeron Family or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron Family or compatible 256MB RAM + Broadband (cable/DSL/T-1) Internet Explorer 6 or above, Firefox 1.x, Mozilla 1.x, AOL 9, Netscape 7.x Windows Media Player 9.0 or above, Flash Player 7 or above
Macintosh Recommended Profile:
Operating System Processor RAM Connectivity Browsers Plug-ins
OS X or above PowerPC G3, G4, G5 or later processor (700Mhz or more) 512MB RAM + Broadband (cable/DSL/T-1) Safari 1.3 or above, Mozilla 1.x, Camino 1.x Windows Media Player 9.0 or above, Flash Player 7 or above
NOTE:

• NOT all versions of Internet Explorer on Macintosh are supported.
• Mac Safari browser users will experience slowness for portions of the site that utilize plug-in technology such as Windows Media Player or Flash Player. This slowness is not specific to MiLB.com but to all websites that use plug-in technologies.

AOL users:

AOL 9 is also supported. However, please note that running the AOL environment consumes a substantial amount of the computer's memory and processing capacity. This may cause occasional slowness, even with broadband connectivity. Older computers with less capacity are more prone to experience slowness on AOL. MiLB.com does not support AOL versions older than 9.

Other general settings:

JavaScript should be turned ON. This is the standard setting for all browsers. The site will not work if JavaScript is turned off.
Cookies should be ENABLED. This is the standard setting for all browsers. If cookies are disabled, you may experience difficulties viewing certain content.
